quick idea.
Yes, she is in rehab and she
did walk some a couple of days ago. But...
They are currently trying to
get her digestive system functioning and balance. There has been some success
but in doing so they have taken her off of some of her meds. Restless leg syndrome
(RLS) has been a pretty constant companion for the last 2 days. This means she
is very uncomfortable and cannot sleep well. Hopefully, today will see a change
in that as she has access to the med the is effective. She is getting rehab in
her room.
Their goal is that she will
come home on July 11. The consensus of doctors and therapists is that you heal
quicker and better at home.
She sounds in relatively good
spirits if you don't count the issues with the restless leg. The surgeries are
healing. She as a big incision in her abdomen where they put the bone wedges in
and the one in the back (which I have not seen) is probably longer.
